I was told the indian god on the chariot is called 'Ah ma' and she especially blesses couples.
mama smurf and i. It's a lil' dark but i like the lightings. :)
there were so many people! not just indians but most of the neighbourhood chinese too.
The beautiful Indian God.
taken by mama smurf, the lousy camera-lady... i was offering flowers to the god. ;p
This cute baby was brought up onto the chariot for blessing. apparently, the baby's parents have been trying to have a child for years and after asking the indian god, 'ah ma', they finally had their first born.
i wasn't ready. hell, i looked terrible! i mean, i had no make-up, no contact lenses on and i just simply took whatever was behind my door to just wear out. i was so close to actually wanting to miss it. i was forced out by mama smurf who wanted blessing for my exams for me and i reluctantly went along. but i seriously had fun and it was a wonderful experience!
the ropes used to pull the chariot around the neighbourhood. can u imagine those poor people that had to pull until wee hours of the morning?!
The indian santan over my forehead for blessing. :) it was almost 3 in the morning.
*tired*
