A failed surprise birthday party.

it was Brian's surprise birthday party at Fondue House in Hartamas. Unfortunately for us, the cover was blown and it became so funny.

when we got the miss call from Esmond that he was arriving, we panicked. we were jumping from one end of the restaurant to the other. trying to find the perfect spot to hide but the restaurant was practically semi-transparent with glass doors! -___-"

oh well, like i said our cover was blown. Brian saw us jumping like monkeys all over the restaurant.

it was pretty sad during that time i was still on vegetarian. and this one whole month of being a vegetarian seriously has brain-washed me! i mean i cant even eat chicken or pork anymore!! especially my minced pork! What happened?!

therefore i didnt really enjoy dinner cuz there were so many restrictions. ish. but other than that, the night was seriously fun!

My farwell.

there was a cousins gathering at Penang Street, Sunway Pyramid the day before yesterday for a small farewell for me. M.S.G. and Yue Mei joined in too.

while the adults went to Uncle Lim's for a cup of coffee, the cousins went up to Baskin Robins for ice cream!

we were laughing so loud that the whole place was looking at us very frustrated. so after almost 2 hours of laughing and chit-chatting, we went down to Uncle Lim's to the adults and i bumped into unexpectedly, Nadine Ann Thomas!

she's so extremely tall. -_-

later then we also realised something else.

"So you guys were all having ice cream upstairs?" asked Gkim (ariel and nick's mum)
"yeah." all of us.
"but ariel, i dont think you had money on you isn't? who paid for you?"



we stoned for a second and then burst out laughing! Ariel forgot to pay! she was happily licking her ice-cream which she had forgotten to pay!! it was absolutely hilarious!

Damn i feel cheated.

We were late.


we were suppose to be having branch with Hennley, Devin and mama smurf. the boyfriend got it all mixed up and thought it was at 1130am, when they were already all there at 11am.

anyway, after branch the boyfriend and i went to Sunway Pyramid to shop for Cheongsams for me to bring to UK!



M.S.G.'s new hairstyle. he had it cut short at Peek-ka-boo in the curve and pulls off a new dragonball look! ;p

I was actually torn between a black and purple cheongsam or the red and gold one. well, M.S.G. said that he was more of a traditional type of guy, so i went for the red in the end. ;p

next, i went to the salloon to do my hair. i wanted to touch up all the highlights and dye on my hair before i leave for UK. it was a good thing i sent the boyfriend home because Jims, my hairstylist told me it will take at least about 1 and a half to about 2 hours and i ended up sitting in the chair for almost 3 to 3 and a half hours!



after i was finished with my hair. the boyfriend wanted to have steamboat for dinner. when i got in the car, the boyfriend handed me this paperbag with a Spongebob Squarepants inside!


I am so going to bring it with me to the UK! :D


My new highlights!

the boyfriend was acting pretty fishy and i kinda expected something but i wasn't too sure of what was going on. my suspicion was led on because:

1) he told me his friend William had called him out of the blue to tell him that the steamboat buffet place is full and when i told him that we could still go there to check, he told me William said it was pack until people were queing outside. O_O odd.
2) when he asked to suggest another place, i told him let's eat Ramli burger instead, he surprisingly was reluctant which he usually wont be. O_O
3) this Chan Cal Vin nearly blew the whole surprise by sending me this message, "Sher...im sorry i couldn't make it today...Not in the right atmosphere to drive to subang on exam eve...enjoy your dinner later...see u tomorrow for dinner k?" and i was like 'HUH?!'. you nearly spoiled it for me Chan Cal Vin!! >.<

the boyfriend was a lil' upset too because apparently so many pulled out last minute. however it is, he continued the surprise by asking me to shut my eyes and led me to another steamboat restaurant in sunway, where Brian and Esmond were there to surprise me!

i was seriously touched and surprised. i even accidentally led out a tiny scream when i opened my eyes to see that Esmond was sitting right in front of me, giving me a creepy smile! ;p


Esmond is wearing the shirt i bought for him from Bali! :D

thanks to Brian and Esmond for coming for dinner. it may have been a small farewell but it was the best ever.

especially since one has two papers the next day and the other has an early morning at the office. i am really grateful. and will miss you both very much.

M.S.G., it didn't matter if everyone pulled out in the end, you were sweet, really sweet and it's sad that i have to leave you behind.
