Taking the next step.

I dont know if this friend of mine
remembers this
or rather still reads my blog
considering she has no time
to even update hers. -_-

In high school,
we were pet sisters
and we were the only two in high school
that wanted to get married
and have children.

She was one of the other few people
who proved LDRs really work
when she got together
with an Australian boy
a few years back
and were inseparable despite the distance.

He recently proposed to her
and she was so over the moon about it.

Me?

Im still in square one.

Not that i want any commitment right now
and i really am not ready for anything further
or rather a serious relationship
but I do admit im so envious
of how happy she is right now
while spending time with her future in laws
for Christmas and for the New Years.

My heart goes out to her
for the warmest blessing for the two of them
to make this work and still be so crazy
about each other.

But it kinda reminds me
that Im still where I am
when i was in high school.

Still dreaming,
and still hoping.

It's weird to already know
who would be the person
you would want to spend
the rest of your life with.

Well I think its a lil scary, no?

So Christmas Day!

Woke up to this gorgeous view
and altho we didnt actually had the time
to go visit the cows or the horses,
I think this was good enough. heh.

At the breakfast table.

Went to the blue lagoon,
a newly opened swimming centre
that had slides, waves and a jacuzzi.

It was such a relaxing morning.

We werent allowed to take pictures at the pool
so we just took them at the lockers.

Cheeseeeee, my fave.

Had to shake the pineapples off tho. hehe.

We were each given scratch cards
and AnimeAde & I won, 6 and 10 quid each!

Christmas dinner at lunch time
with the Turkey!

One of the confettis
were stuck on the ceiling
and lil Henry, RascalIsabelle's nephew
was trying to blow it down. hehe.

The two grown ups, Spice and Charl
playing with Dan's Christmas present.

Dan is RascalIsabelle's adopted brother
who is slightly autistic.

You can see yourself in the tv
while you dance
which would actually help Dan
to learn faster.

So cute. haha.
