Fruit picking in Newport, Wales!

So the other day,
WanLin randomly suggested
for us to go on a strawberry picking trip
to Newport, Wales for a day.

We were gutted
that we went on the way to Wales
and it wasnt the strawberry season
but we were still able to pluck others
such as plums and blackberries.

They look exactly like redberries
and it was actually the first time
ive tasted a blackberry.

And it wont be a farm
without chickens
and hairy giant caterpillers. >_<





We also stopped by
the blueberry part of the farm
which weren't ripe yet to pick
but OiKum stole one to eat anyway. -_-





Back at the main shop
we cashed out our findings
and i found this interesting jar
on the nearby shelf. haha






We bought strawberries too
from the shop
and i made pancakes for breakfast
the very next day for the first time
(from SCRATCH, mind you! :D)
with the fresh fruits
we brought home.

Off travelling!





Am off to London, Brighton
and Scotland for the next week and a half.

Ive been to Brighton
but hopefully this time
ive got more time to look around.

However I'll try to keep this updated
regularly with scheduled posts. :D
