it was a terrible morning. we had such a huge arguement that i seriously thought it was the end. but he just had to be the sweetest. and i am thankful. :)
the boyfriend picked me up at 8pm and as i got into the car, there were 3 stalks of roses on the dashboard. he picked them up and gently placed them on my lap. to be honest, i was still upset about the whole morning's arguement and still didn't felt like i was in the mood for a fancy dinner but after seeing the roses, i instantly melt.
it was like falling in love all over again.
we took a slow drive to bangsar. i told him that i have wanted to try the food in red chamber ever since i went there two years ago for Jennie's birthday. so he took me there.
A red night out.
first, we got lost. then when we found the place, we had a hard time looking for parking because there were tow trucks around!
after finding a parking spot in a dark alley, we proceeded to the restaurant.
EY?! where is Red Chamber?! I looked up and down at the shop where Red Chamber was suppose to be at, instead to be looking up at a header called 'D'Haven'.
since when it's been changed?! i asked the lady standing in front of the restaurant and was told that they've changed management but the food remained the same.
we thought since we were here, why not just give the new place a try. so we sat down and ordered. i had to skip my vegetarian meal for that night because there was nothing vegetarian to eat there. aih. there goes another day to replace..
-_-
i was very curious with the new management and i was talking to the waitress if there was any difference with upstairs' interior.
"not much has changed but red chamber is still a classic somehow."
"is there by any chance that we can eat upstairs? can we move it upstairs?"
"yes, of course. i will make sure your order would be sent up."
wow. lovely! :)
i rushed the boyfriend up the stairs to find the room upstairs was completely empty.
the boyfriend seeing me looking a lil' dissappointed with the environment, reminded me that it was after all a wednesday night. it cheered me up a lil' while. and soon we were camwhoring.
the boyfriend giving his masculine smile and i. ;)
and then the food came.
the boyfriend stealing my maccaroni. >.<
The food.
M.S.G., the stoner.
soon, we found out that lacking of people was not just the only bad point about D'Haven. -_-
firstly, like i said earlier, there wasn't anyone upstairs. there were people downstairs but none upstairs.
secondly, there were holes in the carpet. at first i figured, hey, not everything has to be perfect. but then the longer i sat on those things, the longer i suddenly had this feeling that the carpets had not be sunned for a long time and that they may be worms crawling up my skirt!
thirdly, the table was super DUSTY!! What the smurf?!
Then, was the food. it was horrible! and the fact that the place was so dark, if the cook had put unidentified objects in your food, you cant even see it! >.<
Another point, it was hot! there were 4 aircons and only one was on but it super WARM!
the worst part yet, was when they decided to on the big tv in the middle of the room, there was NO ASTRO!
Can you believe that?!
this was turning out to be the worst dinner, ever. in history. aih.
anyhow, we finished our meal, paid the bill and quickly went off. the boyfriend kept hugging and kissing me, telling me that he was sorry for bringing me to this horrible place which really wasn't his fault at all. aih. if only we had stayed downstairs which looked 100x BETTER.
the night was still young, so we walked down jalan telawi and came across this small hang out place ( which i honestly cant remember the name of the place right now ). i told the boyfriend that we could go into have drinks but as i walked in, it was cold.
"it's a lil' cold here, isn't?"
"Good lah! better than the other one."
>.<
the boyfriend ordered whisky and i ordered my usual, orange vodka alongside with a plate of french fries. it was definately so much better than D'Haven.
thank you, love. it may not be the most perfect evening, but it ended with a happy ever after.
i even found out later that night that it was the boyfriend's first time to Bangsar! woah! 22-years of your life and you've never been to Bangsar but only it's housing estates?! Amazing.
Happy belated 3rd month anniversary, M.S.G..
I want to take more photos.
I'm in a mood for more self-potrait. did a couple of shoots myself. repeated like dunno-how-many-times for a perfect shot. -_- lazy to post them up now. all my in laptop and something's wrong with the wireless conection.
Later lah.
Currently listening to: Panic! At the Disco - The Only Difference between Martyrdom and Suicide is Press Coverage.
*not a bad band. :) check it out!*
Alone for the Weekend.
No one to take me go shopping, no one to take me go for a walk and no fancy dinners. :(
Because the boyfriend has left for a 3-days-2-nights camp in bukit tinggi.
ah. so cute! my pup, snuffles just came running between my legs to call me to open the doors for him to pee outside. It's cute with the fact that spanials are not naturally barkers and hence, this one DOES NOT bark at all!
in fact, i dont think i remember hearing him bark at all since 3 years ago we took him in.
ive heard him squealing in his sleep but not barking. even when strangers are at the door, he watches them with excitement while wagging his tail but no barks. -_-"
Weird pup.
PIKOM PC Fair.
if its not because i sayang the boyfriend so much, i seriously couldn't be bothered to wake up this early for this. not even if it's giving away hard discs!
SERIOUSLY! im not a typical malaysian. ;p
well anyways. the first 100 people who subscribes to the HWM Magazine for RM144 will get a free Samsung hard disc, 128Mb Kingston mini Pendrive, t-shirt and a cap. if i wasn't mistaken, the hard drive's cost at the original price was RM150-RM160.
The super long queue at the entrance of the hall. this people no need to sleep is it?! -_-
Eye bags! argh. >.<
cute yish, gary with his i-dont-care-macho look and the M.S.G. :)
As soon as the doors swung open. we ran. and ran. and ran. *im so glad i wore sleveless and shoes* -_-
I sweat like a cow! I'm a smurf but i sweat like a bloody cow.
we ran pass hall 1. ran thru pretty girls. ran thru weird computer stuffs. ran thru hall 2 and then hall 3. ran down escalators. ran thru more pretty girls and more computer stuffs. ran thru hall 4 and finally to the exit at hall 5. *PHEW*
and as we reached there, we were staring at an already EXTREMELY Looonnngg queue. >.<
NO! i didn't wake up at 8.30am, ran until i was outta of breath and sweat like a bloody cow for this! NO WAY. the boyfriend and yish have to get their free hard discs no matter what. >.< thank goodness. this girl was giving out forms to all those in line. and this was what we got..
WOOOHOOO! Number 68 of 100!
while queueing up...
M.S.G. filling up his subscription form while we queued up for him.
Nah! Proof that i ran because i was wearing shoes. I never wear shoes. they make my feet look huge and ugly. >.<
After waiting for almost an hour which suprisingly doesn't feel like an hour with all the chit-chatting and things to look around at at the fair... it's our turn! Finally!
The two happy people. :)
*digging thru the goodie stuffs* "what's this?!" M.S.G., "where?" yish. -_-
Back View.
Front View.
The tiny pendrive. >.<
See! no joke! it is really that small! :D
i still had time before the boyfriend had to rush back for his club camp over the weekends in bukit tinggi and i needed to do some webcam-hunting to bring with me to the UK. met mei hui and teck onn who was working there and a couple more people which i used to work with. also saw adrian, our
Taylors College's IT man there to queue for the free hard drive. >.< Logitech and i fell in love instantly with this webcam specialised for notebooks. LOVELY! it was RM219~! aihz. just had a huge arguement with my mum last night, she will never let me buy this. *aihz*
but i gave it a try anyways. mum sounded angry on the phone. she was complaining to me about the security guard giving her problems and that she wants to fire him.
WOAH! even more i shouldn't ask her.
*rambling* "...anyways. why did you call?" mum asked all a sudden.
*hesitated abit*"err.. i saw this notebook webcam, i was thinking of buying this model which is the cheapest on the shelves..."
"okay. buy loh." the mother interrupted.
Did i hear wrong? Buy?!
ODD.
but yeah. so. i bought it. *tee hee*
i managed to bargain a discount of RM9 off in the end with the manager and even got a free Logitech pen. :)
However, my happiness didn't last long. i was happy for not more than 5 minutes when we walked towards the exit and M.S.G. realised something. i peeped over to look what was he looking at and....
WHAT THE SMURF?!
another smaller stall selling behind a couple of stalls away from the Logitech one was selling the exact model for RM205!!
ahhh!!! DEPRESSED.
the boyfriend tried to cover my face and turning me away from it.
"it's cheaper! not the same model!" as he tries to cheer me up.
you think i small kid ar? i can see!
Dies.
we didnt have much time left, quickly left the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre and to KLCC for a quick lunch at the foodcourt.
yish and gary went home by themselves by LRT as they were suppose to meet up a friend in Kelana Jaya LRT station. so as the boyfriend and i were walking down to the basement, at the escalator i saw the most hideous jeans ever!
Oh dear. someone need to give that poor girl some serious fashion make over! It's terrible! Looks like maggots got to it and chewed them up in holes! eww!
rushed home. was stuck in a traffic jam and the boyfriend was late. hence, his stress look. >.<
havent been studying for the past two days. Guilt. better stop blogging and start studying. damn tired. one more post on our 3rd month anniversary in Bangsar.
Next time lah.
