Was trying to teach the boyfriend this sentence in mandarin.
'wei se mo ni de sheng ri mei you qie dan gao de?'
(Why didn't you cut a cake on your birthday?)
I gave fairly huge hints that 'wei se mo' meant 'why'
and 'sheng ri' is birthday.
Then i asked him, "Okay so what does 'dan gao'(means cake) means?"
Without any hesitation he replied, "Three dogs."
-_- *slaps forehead*
I laughed so hard that i think i cracked a rib.
stupid.

i remember in high school when my sis had a bf name Chow Kek Liang, and my chinese sux, so chos = smelly, kek = cake and liang = two right?
So i asked her why her bf's name was "Smelly 2 cakes?". LOL
