Decisions as a team.

Its so hard to work as a team
when you're about to be committed legally
as husband and wife.

Im so used to considering my future
all on my own and since i move countries constantly,
im always deciding my next step,
all on my own.

The boy had never said no fortunately for me.

When i wanted to move to *England* for studies,
he didnt say no.
When i wanted to move to *Singapore* for work,
he didnt say no.
When i wanted to move to *Belgium* for work,
he also didnt say no.

So when i told him
i might be moving away again next year
a few weeks after our wedding,
he totally flipped out,
even though i told him it will only
be for a year. :(

It's so hard to compromise
but really does sacrifices
always have to be made in a relationship?

Aih.

Our Merdeka Eve.

The boy came home slightly earlier last night,
took me to have Japanese food for dinner,
came back home to watch
people on *youtube* surprising
their parents about their
pregnancy announcements until 1am.
(its so addictive!)

Boy fell asleep
with fireworks in the background. -_-

Talk about aging huh.

Yeah.
It's a REAL party here
with the snores as symphony. haha

Happy Independence Day, Malaysia!

Saving a baby bird

Last week my family came home
to find this lil 'chap' sitting
on our front porch.

Well literally in front of our front door. haha

It was still a baby
so it couldnt fly yet.

Mum picked it up
and first placed it in a
lil bird cage that mum bought
ages ago to feed it some water,
while sister googled on how to handle
our unexpected guest. hehe

After much researching,
it was decided that they have to be placed
in a cool, shady place outside
so that their family could find them.

And true enough in
less than 20 minutes,
a whole flock came to the rescue.

Mama bird somehow
managed to get baby bird
up high on our gate. O_o

Dad had been so obsessed with the birds
that he actually said,
"If they actually make a nest
on the tree outside, we are never moving."

O_o

Talk about protective man haha.
So darn cute.
