Christmas is coming!

My sister bought an
early present for my puppy, Cookie.

Clearly she doesnt like to be dressed up.
So damn cute HAHAHA!

*

Its been a very hectic week
but in a very good way I would say
and as tired as I am,
I feel so accomplished that im able
to fully utilised all my time.

I was able to make extra side incomes,
still keep up with my daily exercise routines
and was still able to bake and cook at home
like a good wife. haha!

Just a couple more weeks to our first trip
as husband and wife to Hong Kong
and also just slightly more than a month to Christmas!

Cant wait till everything slows down
for some breather. :)

November (so far) in pictures.

Ive finally decided to cut my hair.

Been looking for a hairdresser
since my regular one did *this* to me
on my wedding day...

Was happy with the outcome
with this new hairdresser i tried
but she was so damn rude.

So, im not going back. -_-

And the hunt for a new hairdresser continues...

******

Its been 2 weeks since
ive done any yoga classes
due to some personal issues
and im dying to get back out there.

Luckily its back to normal this week! :)

Just one of those moments
when im trying to practice a handstand at home
but not enough space. -_-

******

I dont know how i did this
but i wore the boy's slippers
and my shoes down to my parents' house.

I didnt even realise
until i took them out
to put them in the shoe cabinet. T_T

Thank goodness i wasnt going to a mall, i tell you.

My precious
and my first love.

Sleeping like a baby
on my parents' couch...
How adorable is that?! :D

He was quite sick a couple of weeks back
and we were so worried as the boy
is getting pretty old
but luckily he pulled through,
because there's no way i can live without
that pretty lil face. x

More to come.

My past few weeks has been filled
with events and events,
which i havent exactly been used to
after being anti-social for quite some time
and it doesnt stop there.

Not that im complaining
but all the running around
and late nights has totally wound up
my eating, gym and sleeping schedule
that i was nursing quite a bit of migraine
over on Sunday.

So im blessed that i had a day off
before kick starting this busy week again
with my wonderful husband-to-be
who woke up early just to accompany me
to the market for this week's grocery list
before we headed off for some facial
(to prepare us for the wedding!)
and ending the day with some family time.

A little goes a long, long way.
Feeling so blessed. :)

Happy Monday, my readers! xxx

Totally made my day!

It's funny how the lil things
that always count.

Found this in my office today
written by my boss,
and it totally made my day
with just a simple sentence like that.

Just totally motivated me to work harder. :)

Make sure you do that for the people
you love/care/ appreciate,
you might just make their day too!

Randoms in January

MachoGary treats dinner! @ Japanese Restaurant (in Saujana)

Yummy but freakishly expensive!

HEHEHEHE Thanks MachoGary!

MSG.HennWei donating blood for the 1st time!

The boy finding out for the first time
what blood type he is and...
donating blood for the first time too!

His first good deed of the year!
So proud of him! :)

Unfortunately for me,
I had low count for blood cells
so i was unable to donate any. :(

Muah Chee.

Learned how to make muah chee
from scratch for the first time
from my aunt who was down from Amsterdam.

I also learned how to cook
*pan mee*, bake choco chip cookies
and also peanut cookies for CNY,
all from scratch!

Yay me!

Going on a healthy diet.

Changing my diet
for a healthier new year.

Got dried cranberries instead
to replace those unhealthy munchies.

That was one of my dinner in the 2nd picture:
Omelette with spinach and tomatoes. :)

Allen Tracy is home. :)

After not seeing the boy
for 5-6 years,
he has finally returned. :)

The boy joined the US army
about 5-6 years ago
and ive not seen him since!

My, my, how much he has grown!

Here's a picture of him and my sister
when we had a late dinner at Williams.

Unfortunately, he was only home for a short 3 weeks. :(

Suet Yee & Ernest's wedding!

One of the most anticipated
wedding of the year.

Congratulation you two
and enjoy your holidays! :)

Breakies with SF and Juls.

Unfortunately there wasnt any other photos taken. -_-

But it just comes to show,
how happy i was in both of their company. :)

Shamini's wedding!

Nearly teared
just watching how beautiful
my college classmate walked down the aisle.

It was rather confusing at first,
'cause her twin was in front of her
and was wearing a really similar saree
to her colour. T_T

Congratulations darling! xxx

Disclaimer: Not all pictures were taken by me, so thank you to all who generously provided me to steal. :p Sorry! haha!

7 Ways To Make Your Home Happier And More Relaxing In The New Year.

An interesting read off *Huffington Post*.

At the beginning of a new year, many people decide to make things right in their world -- they work on getting a new job, partner, or haircut -- and their objective depends on where they think their problems lie. Since you're reading these sentences, you may feel that some changes to your home are in order.

You can get the new year off to a good start and feel better in your home, even if you're still burned out by the end of the year hoopla, if you:

Keep your home clean. You'll feel better about your place and being there if it's tidy - and you'll be broadcasting the message that your life is under control to everyone who enters, including you. That helps keep stress levels low. And all that scrubbing 'til it shines will generate endorphins that will buoy up your mood and help shed unwanted pounds. Isn't everyone on a diet this time of year?

Minimize the clutter. Totally banishing clutter is often impossible, but it can usually be reduced. Seeing clutter really does make us tense. Also, all the piles and debris (be real, you know when souvenirs and art become annoying litter that impedes forward motion) can keep you from accomplishing what you want to do in a space - from balancing your checkbook or doing yoga to moving from one chair to another.

Look around and try some easy fixes first, before you call in the demolition crew and the contractors. Often, a new coat of paint on the walls can make a room more comfortable. Same with some fresh throw pillows on the couch or a new pair of drapes. Things that are obviously worn out - such as threadbare rugs - should be the first candidates for replacement; they're demoralizing.

Express yourself. Make sure that the place where you live says the things about your life that you want other people to know. While you're sending messages to others, you'll be reminding yourself what's important to you, and that helps you keep your life on an even keel. Fancy that you're a sailor? Add a model sailboat to the décor. Do you volunteer to improve the world? Put up a photo of yourself in this mode. Not a chef, but have an expensive collection of pots and pans hanging from an overhead rack in your open-plan kitchen? Find those pots and pans a new home. A place that tells your story is a place that will make your life better.

Decorate in a style that makes you happy and relaxed. Who cares if your taste matches what is being displayed in the high-end furniture stores? If sitting on wicker furniture makes you blissful, fill your living room with it - even if most people you know would banish it to the sun porch. You live in your home, so please yourself.

Cue people in to desired behavior. People read messages in their environment to determine what they should do there. For example: Do you prefer peaceful meals in your dining room? Put a tablecloth on the dining table then, even if it has a great finish you love showing off. That tablecloth will make people think about observing those rules of etiquette that were so important to their mother when they were growing up.

Let the daylight in. All of your other problems may evaporate in the sunlight if you open the drapes - daylight boosts our mood and helps us think great thoughts.

You can have a happy new year in your home -- keep it clean, reduce the clutter, let it send the right messages, and pull up the shades!

Randomness of Oct & Nov (so far!)

Wow i cannot begin to apologise
on how long ive totally
abandoned this blog.

I always try to at least
blog once a week,
no matter how busy i am
but I guess having too many things
on one plate can really topple you over.

Okay so first of all,
I will like to post
on all the random events
that i took for the past 4-5 weeks.

Nick's 24th Birthday!

It was my cousin,
Nick's 24th in October
and we had a family gathering
at my uncle's place in Puchong
to celebrate the happy occasion.

Nick and his girlfriend, YueMei. :)

Sorry for the blur pictures,
there was alot going on
and a lot of laughter that
I couldnt get my hands to stay still.

A group picture is a must! :)

Rain, Rain Go Away!

It has been raining non-stop
for the last few weeks
and its freezing,
especially in the office.

Wearing jackets doesnt really help anymore
so i resorted to a nice hot old cucumber soup.

Im not usually a soup person
but its so soothing and
its lovely to have something
to warm you on such a depressing weather.

So relaxing. :)

Although i cant say the same
for my dear fiancé and his car tho. T_T haha

***

Dinner with Jean (her twins!) and SoniaGan!

SoniaGan was back
for a mere 2 weeks from Melbourne
and we just had to have a mini gathering
for all of us to catch up!

Soon-to-be-mummy-of-twins, Jean
picked Jyu Raku in Subang
for some delish Japanese food.

Isn't Jean glowing?
Another 8 weeks to go!

The month of Movember!

So its the fiancé's annual event,
(that he looks forward to every year!)
the Movember month!

I think he's been doing this for the past
2 or 3 years in row now if im not mistaken.

Dont know what is Movember?

Here's a quick definition by *Wiki*:

Movember (a portmanteau of the word moustache and "November") is an annual, month-long event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of prostate cancer and other male cancer initiatives. The Movember Foundation runs the Movember charity event, housed at Movember.com. The goal of Movember is to "change the face of men's health."

So what you're suppose to do
is do a clean shave on 1 Nov (day 1)
and at the end of the month,
donate your moustache to raise money for charity!

Not too late to start,
it is afterall only the
9th day of the month!

Deepavali coming soon!

Boss was sweet enough
to buy us both (me and my colleague),
Uncle Sunny's famous blueberry cheesecake
as an an early Deepavali token.

Goodness.

This new work place
is always giving out *cakes*.

This is no good
for this soon-to-be bride! haha!

To all those who celebrate Deepavali,
Happy Deepavali!

And Yay to those who celebrates
a shorter working week! Hohoho.

Tattiano in James Bond: Skyfall!

A quick shout out to Tattiano
who appeared alongside Daniel Craig
and Ralph Fiennes in the new
James Bond movie called Skyfall!

Here are some screen shots
from some deleted scenes
that he has compiled and sent to me.

Opposite the escalator
from the gorgeous Bérénice Marlohe!

Okay these are only backshots
but you will be able to see his front view
in the show itself for 3 seconds! haha!

You're a celebrity of 3 seconds, babe! HAHA!

Screenshots are taken
from some of the videos below.

So remember peeps to go check out,
Oon Kim Tat aka Tattiano in Skyfall
at a cinema near you!

Disclaimer: Thanks to *Vlicious* and *007 Bond* for the videos!
