Monday Inspiration.

Source: Vogue Italia.

What a wet, cold Monday
and it's December, the jolly season!

"Almost" feels like winter. HAHA!

As it seems my new love for baking and cooking,
ive started planning out some really cute gifts
to people who mean a lot to me and has especially
helped me out throughout the year of 2013.

But it will have to all be put on hold first for now
until I return from my trip to Hong Kong in mid Dec.

Busy month December
and soon it'll be 2014!

So exciting! xo.

Nineteen.

Im wearing:
Top: Miss Selfridge
Mini skirt: Guess
Shoes: Nine West
Bag: Charles & Keith
Lipstick: MAC

The reason for the title,
is because the clothes in the pictures
that i was wearing were clothes
that i wore when I was nineteen.

That's 10kg in 3 and a half months.

Yeah. Ive gone down 2 dress sizes
and I could fit into clothes i cant wear anymore
from almost a decade ago.

Im also now officially lighter
than I was before i left for England
and was pretty shocked myself
when i stood on the scale for my company's health test.

Dad obviously isnt too keen
on my drastic weight loss,
but i keep his constant mumbles
far in the background.

The boy and I did some test shots above
the other day and I still cant bring myself
to like my body.

I still really hate my legs. :(

An absolutely stunning piece

2013.

I dont know where to begin
without making 2013 sound
super exciting.

My first paper for CMT will be in May,
my results for CFA will be out late Jan
and im finally gonna be hitched late 2013.

The boy would also have his first nephew
for the first time ever in early 2013
and he would also be taking up
a whole new exciting project/ adventure
that i hope will work out.

Exciting career opportunities as well
and im so absolutely anxious about it all!

Although i might have to give up
the most exciting trip of 2013,
to Prague and Munich,
I still hope better opportunities
are yet to come!

A small sacrifice to make!

As for New Year Resolutions,
I think having a good career,
focusing on passing my exams,
spending more time with family
and concentrating on more weight loss programmes
will definitely be my priority for 2013.

This is just the beginning!

Wedding prep updates!

I guess the one good thing
about being engaged for so damn long
is having the opportunity to save
just a lil more for the 'wants'
instead of just the 'necessaries'.

Okay so we arent filthy rich
and we're scrapping together
with whatever we can
to make this our dream wedding,
(well to be precise, "MY" dream wedding haha!)
and i admit im getting excited now.

Ive ideas in my head
and imaginations on how
i would love the wedding to be
and how everything would be executed
but im extremely nervous
that it wouldnt be perfect
and its setting me back unfortunately.

A lot of sacrifices has gone
into making this work,
for me - its my love for travelling
that ive to dramatically cut back
due to money i have to save on
and for the fiancé - its his time,
which he already doesnt have a lot of it.

It breaks my heart
to see him doubling his work
just to make the extra bucks
for the wedding and as much
as i want to help him out,
i really cant draw for sh*t. -_- haha

Anyhow, just crossing my fingers
and hope that things go through.

Things i really need to start doing:

1) Look for a 'Kuah' (traditional chinese wedding costume)
2) Look for a wedding shoe. (or custom make one)
3) Shop for Chinese deco stuff
4) Need to arrange a time for dauri meet-ups.
5) Makeup artist. (Urgh damn. Need to find time to go for trials)
6) Videographer.
7) Decide on what MSG.HennWei should wear to match me.
8) Find a tailor for suits and my dresses.
9) Decide on what the hengtais should wear.
10) Save-The-Date/ Invitation/ Wedding gift sticker designs
11) Place settings. (maybe this wont be so soon haha)
12) Music. (Band?)
13) Of course not forgetting, pre wedding photos. T_T

Crap man.

That looks like
a seriously long list. T_T

Better get started soon!

Pace & Naya

Naya Rivera at Comic-Con July 2012
has the most adorable colour combination ever.

Even to my surprise,
my colour-blind fiancé
commented on how lovely
the colours were.

She's wearing a Razan Alazzouni grey crop top
with a blue H&M high-waist pencil skirt.

She also wore a yellow patent leather
Giuseppe Zanotti pumps from an older collection,
however there are new adorable
pony hair yellow pumps from the latest
Fall 2012 collection available online at *Shopbop*.

Pace Wu at Paris Fashion Week,
clad head to toe in Chloé.

Absolutely effortless chic.

Something I would so put together to wear.

Louis Vuitton * 60's style!

Bringing Paris Fashion Week
with a dramatic but bold finish
was the stunning collection
from Louis Vuitton.

It would so be something
i would wear.

Not only the colour blocks
that are gorgeous
but also the cut and designs
are absolutely marvelous.

Absolutely amazing.

Marc Jacobs does a brilliant job
on bringing back the 60s into LV.

Wishing i was there!

I could have seriously cried
my eyes out watching those
beautiful models strutting those
head-turning pieces.

Wonderful.

H&M Grand Launch in KL

Managed to score invitations
to the H&M launch in KL
last Thursday.

The crazy queue.
So much for invitation only. -_- haha

The store was 20% off for everything
and had free flow of champagne and mojito
with finger food all night.

I can never manage to shop
in an insane crowd like this
but somehow this time round
i managed to snag home
2 pairs of heels, 2 tops and
a gorgeous neon-coloured dress.

My winnings. Hoho.

The best part was including
the fiance's shopping,
it only came up to about RM370.

And yes,
you would have guessed i was too busy
shopping and saying hi to long lost friends
that i didnt manage to take much pictures. haha!

Late dinner at McDs
to finish off the wonderful night. :)

Thanks Eugene for the invite!

Colour Block Love!

Love how the dark fushia colours
blend in together nicely.

An absolute fashion inspiration
if i was ever out and about a country
that has 4 seasons haha.

Note: Pictures are from *RCFA*.

Kate Beckinsale

Im always loving Kate Beckinsale's
fashion ways as its always an idea
on what to wear to work as well.

The only actress ever
to still look freaking slim
in a tight fitting leather suit. -_-

Preen 'Sara' dress from Resort 2013
and white Walter Steiger pumps.

Clad in Paule Ka
with Brian Atwood 'Hamper' Pumps.

Absolutely loving this.

H&M top with Diane von Furstenberg pencil skirt.

Not forgetting her Christian Louboutin
spike ‘Pigalle’ heels
and gold Melinda Maria earrings.

What a beauty!

Zac Posen and Christian Louboutin blue suede Daffodile pumps.

A lovely dinner wear
to have at a company dinner
or some sort. :)

Eager.

I had been so eager
to look forward to the first
Saturday with no class or work
after 6 weeks of non-stop
classes and work
that I couldnt sleep till it was 2:30am
and woke up at 8:30am. -_-

So much for trying to sleep in. Geez.

Was having a slight fever last night
and had to go thru some minor
disappointment to find out
that you really just cant change
everything to make things perfect.

I tend to be a perfectionist sometimes
which is obviously bad for me
to be so naive about this world.

So sometimes all you need to do
is suck it all in
and just take it with a blow.

Even if it hurts deep down inside.

The Deleted Scene!

So following *this*,
the Glee director has decided
to release the deleted
Christmas scene of KLAINE!

God.
Melts your heart isnt?

Wedding Fever.

Inspirations on a
late Friday evening.

If only ive got a body
of a model to pull off
all those gorgeous looks.

Well, ehem...
and money of course. haha

Chanel.

"A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous.” ― Coco Chanel

There's just something
about Chanel that you
just HAVE to have it. ;p

Bride's maids day out.

So not only i have to run around
looking for my wedding gowns
but I am also one of the bridesmaids
to my cousin sister's wedding,
early next year.

So we had a lil outing on Thursday
to look for the dresses.

My baby sis and I.

One tall, one short.
One fair (pale), one dark (tan). -_-

My 20 year old cousin
who looks like an angel
glowing in this picture. :)

***

We had an early dinner
at *Allo Paris*
before i headed off
for a Dunhill event at KL Rootz.

Baby sis with the Managing Director
of Allo Paris, Bryan. :)

What a beautiful night out
with family. :)
