My days in Belgium.

That's Emillie at her parents' place
at the ourskirt of Liege.

The bed i spend my nights
trying to console myself
that i'll be able to go home soon.

Well, without Fay in it of course. haha

When the only two cubicle showers
broke down and there were
10 of us sharing it. -_-

The beautiful majestic swimming pool
which can be a lil scary to swim alone
in during nightfall.

The lil' TV lounge
where most of the people hang about
and a TV so small to be watched
by 15 people and which mostly plays
French channels.

The last but not least...

Its always nice
to be rewarded.

Belgium Day 15: A Silver Lining.

Ive been having a rough week.

Work has been great
but ive just been emotinally drained,
maybe its because ive been working
for 11 days straight now
and ive been exhausted straight
to my very core.

Its so hard to keep a happy face
trying to sing with the children
Barbie Girl by Aqua
when you just feel so sad
and tired inside.

A very old picture of myself in KL.

I guess im still learning
from my own mistakes...

Belgium Day 12: Im proper knackered.

I just realised
I havent had a weekend.

Ive been working 6 days a week
and then spent the whole of Sunday
trying to travel back to Belgium.

And of all the days,
there were three massive accidents
on the highway getting into
London from Bristol.

Then as I was rushing to the tube station
to rush off from Victoria to King's Cross,
they announced the line had been shut off
because of a person under the train. T_T

Seriously,
why did everyone pick today
to get into an accident! T_T

So i was late
but as i explained
to the ticket office,
they knew about my situation
and had me on the next train for free
which had been a smooth
but tiring trip for me
after changing three different vehicles
just to get into Ferrieres.

Then i worked till midnight
trying to prepare for today's classes,
had classes till 3pm
then activities with the students
till 5:30pm before starting
on more preparation for tomorrow.

God.

The worse part is,
its going to be the same long routine
for another 7 days working this week
but oh well,
I wouldnt trade for anything
but just to be home,
even if it was just for the weekends.

Banksy Part I.

Dont ask why
I look so weird. T_T

The place was too big to complete
in a single day
and I was leaving for Belgium
during that time.

Well it would still be there
when I get back
so yeah am looking forward
to my next visit.

Belgium Day 9: I made it!

Throughout the week that is
and now im going back to London.

I just seriously cant wait.

I know i havent been properly blogging
but I will get back with more pictures
next week. :)

Oh by the way,
after breaking down yesterday,
I managed to convince my boss
to change classes
and now its just a wonderful bliss.

At least now,
im finally enjoying myself.

Belgium Day 8: This just aint worth it.

I literally cried yesterday
with the amount of pressure i felt.

Maybe im taking myself too seriously.

The same boy went on a trip
with his classmates yesterday,
tripped one of them,
the boy fell and his knee was bleeding.

Proper bandages. seriously.

Im gonna take things lightly today
and play more games with them.

Because i dont want to be a teacher in general
all i wanted merely was to fill in my time
for the long summer, at the meantime travel
and earn some really good money.

But this just seriously
aint worth it at all.

Other than that,
ive got a long day today
and ive been swimming for the past
few days in a row.

Its too bad now i cant join
Meej and gang at Ibiza. -_-

Okay duty calls!

Belgium Day 5: The first day of class.

I think i nearly cried.

I had a boy who is on ADHD meds,
a boy who does cartwheels in class
and a boy who daydreams.

I have only 5 children to look after
but they were an absolute nightmare.

Well not all of them,
there was a Russian boy
and the only girl in my class
were quite eager to learn English.

I really lost it
when one of the boys lied to me
and instead of going to the toilet
like he asked my permission to,
he ran off to somewhere else
and I had to shout down the corridor
just for him to come back.

They were falling off chairs,
drawing on each other's books and pants(?)
and I just couldnt control the class
especially when they couldnt speak
a word of English!

Ive been wanting to use the pool
but i never get the time to
and planning lessons after lessons
are fkin tiring.

Im only glad im here for only 4 weeks
unlike some who are here for 2 months.

Anyhow, there's always a silver lining
and Im glad I had mine today
that came in a simple email
which absolutely made my day.

A sneak preview of Banksy.

One word, F-R-E-A-K-Y!

Will post more later.

---------------------------------

Day 3: Knowing your class.

We got our groups today
and im in charged of the pre-teens
which consist of 10-13 year olds
of the lower levels.

We had to prepare materials for them
which so far is going pretty well.

But, I still really
want to go home.

Belgium Day 2: Bug Attack!

We are pretty much clear
now on what our duties are
and it doesnt sound so difficult at all.

Well, keeping my fingers crossed. >_<

Oh it rained today
so the bugs were just seriously ALL OVER!

We would be moving to Ferrières tomorrow
and I heard its worse there.

But anyhoo,
Ive got all the information I need
to go traveling around Belgium
and Im so bloody excited!

I might be able
to pop into France too!

A little ambitious
but yeah! why not!

I cant believe I was so worried before
that I wouldnt have any job or whatsoever
when I could have my fun and travel first!

I guess ive learned my lesson.

Devon roadtrip! Part II

Continued from: *Part I*

Some shops and entertainment
around the area.

Look at the bloody crowd
behind me
and like ive mentioned before
they arent cool at all
with all the pushing.

Kayee got painted!

And then back to our
lovely little inn.

Next day,
the girls and I went down
to Croyde beach and stayed for a tan.

And of course
loads of poses
for the pictures as well.

hehe.

---------------------------------

Results are out.

Ive been so upset about
my dissappointing results
that i didnt stop to think
that Ive indeed passed all
and am now a graduan.

When i told Norah about I might lose
all the job opportunites that ive lined for myself
because of my low results,
the only response i got from her was...

"Does this mean you are staying in Bristol?! YEY!"

Tsk. tsk. -_-
So unhelpful. haha

Michael Jackson dead?!

Its all a *sudden*.

This is just too damn weird.

--------------------------

First day of Training.

After feeling all that shitty,
im fkin glad i have my laptop with me.

Friends just make everything all go away
and one of my close friend from A Levels
is even willing to go traveling with me
on the weekends so i wont be stuck here!

The first day of training
was so tiring.

It wasn't boring nor tough,
it was just such a long day.

And i am getting rather homesick
but well then again i think its normal
when you travel to somewhere new alone
without any friends or family
to a strange country that you dont even speak
their local languages.

So hopefully I will blow past this
and get on with the place
for the next 4 weeks.

We are just seriously pampered around here,
with steak, bread and wine
but it just doesnt feel like home at all...

1 more day.

To tell you the truth,
im terrified.

It's different from moving
to England or to Singapore
because this country doesnt speak English.

And I seriously dont know
what happened to the 6 months worth
of French knowledge Ive learned in Singapore. -_-

So ive to brush up French
and ive to brush up my grammar.

Ive spoke English all my life
that I never bother knowing
whats the difference between
Noun, Verbs, Adverbs and Adjectives.

Or rather what were past participles
or prepositions or a conjunction.

I am absolutely screwed. T_T

Weston-Super-Mare. Part II.

Continued from: *Part I.*

Can you see the culprit
digging the hole?

And the victim
who fell for it! HAHA!

God.
The easiest prank ever.

The process of the human pyramid!

And well,
Norah's invasion. HAHA

Success!

It's so hillarious Mr.Lu went on
running even tho the kite was still on the ground.

Our very last gathering.
Till we all meet again...
