Let the smurf take you around!

Continued from:
*Brussels Daytrip Part I*
*Brussels Daytrip Part II*

Around Brussels that is!

Yes.
I admit i totally forgot
to post up this last part
of my one day trip to Brussels. >_<

But i say,
its never too late right?! haha

So let's start off
with the Comic museum
where i met the mini man of my dreams!

Look whos by the door
to welcome us!

Okay.
Im a lil bias
so im gonna just post
my fave comic characters
even tho i know *Tin Tin*
was more famous in Brussels.

Baby smurf!

I was so tempted to just
sneak it out the door. T_T

OMG look at that la.

Just looking at the old pictures
can also get me excited!

I really really wanted
to get the lil miniture ones
and i couldnt care less how much they cost!

But i thought of the fact that
i would only be in Belgium
for a short period of time
and then moving back to England for only a month,
too troublesome to move it around
as it was fragile!

So ive decided upon my return to Brussels
when ive finally settled down
with my job and place! haha

I settled for this lil guy instead
cause he could live in my handbag
and it was easier to bring him around.

God. He has been my lil Mcsmurfie!

Manda fancies my lil man too!

Waiting for the train. hehe.

Sitting in the sun
while waiting for dinner to be served.

I have to ask the girls again
where this place is
because it was one of the tourist hotspots
and one of the most amazing dinner
i have ever had.

Haagen Dazs while waiting
for the train to take us
back to Aywaille.

A day before i got *locked up*
the next day for Swine Flu.

Smurfie, me and PeiYee!

Thanks to both my girls
for having me for the day.
(Oh and Scotland too! HAHA!)

Phew.
That concludes my trip
to Brussels - the smurfs origin land!

Okay.
*Scotland* continued next. >_<

---------------------------

Okay. Ive decided.

Okay.
I have my answers.

Now all i need to do
is wait and let time show me
my choices.

Emotional.

Ive been rather emotional lately.

At the same time
feeling utterly confused
with feeling excited
and procrastination
to move back home.

I look at my room
and i feel so lazy
to start packing
because i know ive got
a long way to go.

Anyhow, everything has been great
for the past week
and i just couldnt ask for more.

Been to the Harbour Festival
for the last two days
and have settled all the company stuffs
that i needed to do and call up.
(well almost all)

Im having a bit of a dilemma
choosing over money
to a company that is more well known
but pays a lot less.

I just cant wait
to go home to get them
all done and settled.

And yes,
ive kinda come to terms
that i have to leave
this country for good
so as sad as i am,
im ready to move on.

Brussels Daytrip Part I

Okay am gonna split them up.

It's just too much editing
for me in one day. >_<

Especially when you're living off parents now,
im so obsessed with counting every pence
that goes out of my bank account.

Okay going out of topic. -_-

Grand Place of Brussels City!

Crap.
I dont remember the name
of this cafe right now
but it serves the most smurftastic
waffles and crepes i have ever tasted.

Okay.
I think i do roughly remember
how to get to that place. >_<

We were also able to leave
little notes or drawings in their menu
so i wrote a short letter
and stuck it in. hehe. ;p

Brussels also had the occassional
comic strips on the wall
on most of the buildings
and this was my collection no. #1.

That's the comic TinTin!
For some reason he's really famous
in Brussels. hehe

The famous 'Boy pissing fountain'.

Okay enough for now.
Will edit more pictures later.

I was quarantined.

Related Posts: *Part 1*.

The worse nightmare i swear.

This was the only room
i was confined to
with the only small window
i could look out of from my bed.

I had to wear a mask
most of the time
and was only accompanied
by lil smurf soft toy
and a small 'learning French' book
for 3 whole days.

Thats the corridor
that contained 17 of us
that were suspected with Swine.

The two are the doctor and the nurse
who were around most of the time,
keeping track on how we're doing.

The only great thing was,
was the food and the mini buffet table
they had in the corridor for us 24/7.

God,
eat + sleep + watch movies =
damn i think ive put on some weight!

>_<

Im only glad that
ive left this place for good.

Note: Its not that i didnt like Belgium. I loved Brussels during my one day trip but its just my whole lifestyle at Belgium that I didnt fancy. So yes its still a nice country to visit! :D

My days in Belgium.

That's Emillie at her parents' place
at the ourskirt of Liege.

The bed i spend my nights
trying to console myself
that i'll be able to go home soon.

Well, without Fay in it of course. haha

When the only two cubicle showers
broke down and there were
10 of us sharing it. -_-

The beautiful majestic swimming pool
which can be a lil scary to swim alone
in during nightfall.

The lil' TV lounge
where most of the people hang about
and a TV so small to be watched
by 15 people and which mostly plays
French channels.

The last but not least...

Its always nice
to be rewarded.
