Monday Inspiration.

Source: Vogue Italia.

What a wet, cold Monday
and it's December, the jolly season!

"Almost" feels like winter. HAHA!

As it seems my new love for baking and cooking,
ive started planning out some really cute gifts
to people who mean a lot to me and has especially
helped me out throughout the year of 2013.

But it will have to all be put on hold first for now
until I return from my trip to Hong Kong in mid Dec.

Busy month December
and soon it'll be 2014!

So exciting! xo.

A Very Christmas Post.

Our End of The World/ Christmas Dinner.

Taboo + Charades + End of The World Celebration
+ Christmas Buffet + Family = Major Jolly Chaos!

My 2nd uncle was so excited
about the world ending that he took leave
since February to come back from Korea
for this gathering.

We laughed till we teared
and all the way
till the neighbours complained.

Christmas Secret Santa Celebration.

Its been a while
with the group.

What a great night!

Christmas Nails.

I was doing up my manicure
when i saw this nail art
and just had to have the
Red Nose Reindeer!

Too darn cute!

From Him.

Got trolled. -_-

I was trying to keep an excited face
when i opened up to find a mouse cover
then later realising its actually empty
but with a special something inside. :)

My last Christmas present from my fiancé
before we become man and wife. :)

Happy Christmas!

The sister was such in a
Christmas spirit this year
as she dragged me to the manicurist
to get our Christmas-themed nails. -_-

The sister's nails.

My candy-cane-theme
french manicure!

And this was what i got
on the eve of Christmas Day...

Its no Tiffany & Co
but the boy still knows how
to come up with creative and customed gifts
after 5 years,7 months and 16 days. haha

Literally. :)

My Christmas Wishlist.

Christmas isnt too far away
and thinking about all the things
i would like to do and have for Christmas/ New Year's
makes me feel like doing a short list.

1) Dior Earrings- RM2,800

I found the most gorgeous teardrop
mother of pearl earrings from Christian Dior
yesterday when i was in Starhill
and instantly fell in love with it.

It will go perfectly well with my wedding gown.
(although i havent picked one out out yet haha)

2) Placement in Nepal -RM4,000 approx

Ive wanted to do this for a very long time
and in fact i wanted to do it this month
but there were no immediate response
from the monastery there.

Now that ive found more options,
it has become too late and I honestly hope
I would be able to do this next November (2012)
as its a vow ive always dreamed to fulfill.

3) Complete CFA Level 1 - Price unknown

Since my first attempt of the CFA
ended up in failure due to my lack of attention
from the 3 jumps of banks in my career
and since ive moved out from my parents' house,
ive always wanted to get back in there
to work hard and finish that first paper.

However due to work stress
and double shifts at my previous job,
i was unable to find time to do so
and i honestly hope i would be able to do that
this coming June 2012 or Dec 2012.

4) My next employment.

Ive been pretty stressed out
on settling my next employment stuffs.

A lot of things were delayed
and I had to sacrifice a lot of things
to fit into the current situation.

I just hope all goes well by next week
with what Ive asked for.

***

Let me introduce to you... my daughter.

Thanks to *World Vision Malaysia*,
i was able to adopt a beautiful
baby Indian girl.

I would really love to go visit her
but unfortunately there are terms
that we are unable to do so.

she wrote to me.

Okay not literally.

She's only 3 and she cant write yet.

So they sent an art work she did
of her handprint helped by her
biological mother.

And to my surprise,
the letter was authentic
and not like some other organisation
that just photocopies the letters
to the sponsors.

For those who are interested to adopt,
please visit *World Vision Malaysia*
or for international at *World Vision International*.

And when im employed again,
im really considering on having
an adopted son. :)

Belated Christmas and New Year Eve Pictures.

Christmas 2010

Office decided to have
a secret Santa game this year
which was so funny because
we played it a little different.

We had to give 3 gifts each
at a minimum of RM45 for the accumulation
of all 3 presents
and we were to NEVER reveal
ourselves AT ALL. HAHA!

I got the most expensive
present of all
and i also found out
who gave it to me. haha!
(not so secret afterall, Jacky! haha!)

So sweet of him,
to get me things that i love.

Two boxes of *my fave 'Hello Panda' biscuits*,
a gorgeous but expensive pink logitech wireless
computer mouse (yes i also found out how much it is. -_-)
and more batteries to keep it long lasting. HAHAHAHA!

Other presents :

Gift from Christina
and its engraved!

Also another really sweet gesture
from JOTT who drove
all the way to my place
just to drop it off. :)

MSG.HennWei named it Gabriel. HAHAHAHA!

And the best one of them all,
the boyfriend got me an ovenette!

Well of course he had motives. -_- HAHAHAHA!

New Year's Eve 2010

Requested something different
for our New Year's Eve dinner,
Indon Mee & Maggie Soup at the Mamak in Bangsar
and of course the boyfriend
never said no to cheaper alternatives. haha

MachoGary and AndrewYish
came to visit me and the boy
which they ended up playing
some war/strategy board game
until 4am. T_T

Very Big Bang Theory-ish. haha!

The boys were also very compromising
with accompanying me across to Tropicana City Mall
which was a 2 minute walking distance from my place
to celebrate the countdown.

So we bought drinks in Starbucks
and sat down to watch the fireworks. :)

Had a nice video on the fireworks
but unfortunately i filmed it upside down
and have no idea how to flip it
so no posting! haha!

I love simple celebrations. :)

Randoms of December 2010

Laine and Danny's wedding @ Sheraton Imperial

Okay so im a horrible blogger
and this was the only picture
i managed to snap of the couple
with the bride not at her best. -_- haha!

Im so happy for you babe
and because Danny is American,
she'll be moving back to the States with him
early next year.

Congrates you two!

My fave snack!

Just had to take a picture
because it was something ive been craving
for almost more than 6 months
but ive been having trouble
to even locating a "bang chang kuei" cart
to satisfy my craving!

So here's one that ive finally found
in Puchong when i was visiting my Grandmother. :)

***

My first tyre puncture experience!

It was my first time ever
and i have to say,
i really had lady luck
on my side.

The boyfriend was with me
but unfortunately because
the boy had broke his toe,
he was unable to help me.

Lucky for me,
i was only 200 meters away
from a petrol station
and drove slowly to the station for help!

***

The baby sister is home!

Okay this is a lil belated
considering its already
almost time that she's returning
back to Australia
but yup, here she is!

And Snuffles was the happiest
of us all with her return.

Look at how much love he's getting. T_T
HAHAHAHA!

***

An overdued pedicure!

Painted my toe nails
in a shiny sequined red
which im usually not a fan
of super shiny colours.

But i was such in a jolly Christmas mood!

***

Merry Christmas to you!

My only home-made Christmas tree
made by the *Bombshelter-Studios*
(the boyfriend and his team :D )

Christmas eve for me was
dinner with the boyfriend at Santini's
before I came home and crashed straight
at 10:30pm. T_T

Yes, im such a party pooper
but god, i feel age catching up with me! HAHA!

Anyway,
HAPPY CHRISTMAS TO ALL OF YOU!
and i hope all your wishes come true!

PS: All pictures were taken from my IPhone 4 so please excuse the horrible quality. haha!

Huff and Puff.

Oh my god.
What a week.

Sorry for the sudden absence
but there are just too many
wonderful things happening lately
that i really cant contain myself.

First to start with
its a four-weekday week!

Sister is home,
boyfriend had been spending
more time with me
and im loving the market
more and more each day.

It's like me and 'it' are inseparable!

The best part
is helping friends
enjoy the happiness as well,
it really makes it feel
like Christmas is already here. :D

I cant believe its already December
and I just dug out a post
i wrote almost *a year ago*!

Okay so i didnt get to
do all of the stuffs
on the list
but ive definitely crossed out
most of them. :)

For now,
im finally travelling again
and i'll be leaving for Cambodia
this Saturday with the family!

God I did mention
*December is going to be beautiful*, right?

Christmas 2009.

20 over people
in my parent's tiny house.

Turkey + Sake + Friends + Family = What more else can i ask for? :D

Half of my boys.

The almost finishing buffet
and our mini bar. ;p

Hing loves Snuffles.

Look how the boy
is enjoying his neck rub. haha

My sister and my boys
with the 'Fork and Spoon' game
that tortured them till 4 in the morning.

Even Snuffles was
overly exhausted. HAHA

More later. :)
