Some peace.

Just as i talked about it *here*,
she has peacefully left us yesterday afternoon.

What i hate about this is
that because of all the wedding traditions,
me and the boy arent allowed
to go to the wake ceremony or the funeral,
because its too near to the wedding date,
which is rather upsetting considering
i cant even send her off.

Its going to be another hectic weekend
and i kinda just want a break from things.

Cancer month - October

Okay i know its actually more dedicated
to breast cancer in the month of October
but ive lost my best friend
to blood cancer 6 years ago
and i just found out another girlfriend
who would be getting married in March,
was diagnosed with Stage 3 thyroid cancer.

It still hurts me
talking about *Ros*
even though its been more than
half a decade ive lost her to cancer,
and its even more upsetting
to learn that a childhood friend of mine
that is having her wedding ceremony soon,
is diagnosed with cancer too.

She's helped me so much
and recommended so many things
for my own wedding,
to help me through
with all the preparations.

In fact it was just a week
before she was diagnosed,
that we were having hi-tea
at my parents' place when she dropped by
to exchange ideas with me.

Its breaks my heart
to know what a nightmare
she must be going through right now
and it kills me everytime i feel like
texting her to wish her well.

At this point im just thankful
that im blessed with a healthy life
despite all the obstacles ive been going thru.

Aih.
Better start living your lives
to your fullest, people
cause damn, life is fcking short.

My early birthday weekend trip - Genting

A short 1D1N trip to Genting
for an early birthday weekend trip
didnt turn out to our expectations.

Everything was wrong from the start.

Firstly of all days,
there were no daily 9pm circus performance
on the only night we were staying there.

Then there were no table
at the only Italian fine dinning restaurant
so we had to sit by the bar.

Then there were no movie times
for the movies we wanted to watch.

And then when we went back to the room,
the bathtub was clogged,
ventilation in the toilet was running crazy loud
and our shower head wasn't working.

And my period came
the following morning. -_-

Talk about some luck man. haha

As positive as i wanted to be,
i admit i nearly broke down
being so upset with everything
that had to seriously gone wrong
with the one mini trip we wanted to have
since July 2011.

But of course despite everything,
the silver lining was spending time with the boy,
who constantly tried to keep me happy,
which i know can be quite a chore. ;p haha








Gorgeous birthday presents
from my sister and the boy.

For those who dont know,
the boy has NEVER bought me jewelleries
in the 6 years we were together.

I cant stress out on the never part enough haha.

So when he gave me this,
which was really a sneaky surprise
he and my sister had planned,
i cried from overjoy.

in Gohtong Jaya is a must
everytime im in Genting.

So the boy brought me there
for a late lunch before

Also went for the Bridal stock clearance
at the Wedding Hub to check out some ideas
and nearly got sucked into buying a beautiful
wedding dress that was almost at 60% off!






I guess the idea of my wedding dress
would almost be exactly like this one
but more .... exaggerated
and my wedding planner knows that
so she convinced me to not get it
at the moment.

I hope she's right
because giving up a 60% discount
is wayyyyy too painful! haha!

it wasnt as bad as what he thought it was.
